September 2009 ART EXHIBIT

A Photographer's View:
Photography by Steve Berger

Well-known photographer Steve Berger will display landscapes of Long Island's North Fork as well as photos of people, animals and abstracts. Mr. Berger has been a passionate photographer since his childhood in Atlantic City. During his professional years as president of a large communications company, he continued his interest in photography, shooting mainly in black and white. He has won numerous awards for his work and was featured on Cablevision as a North Fork artist. For several years now Mr. Berger volunteers to teach some high school seniors the art of photography, including composition of a picture, developing and printing. The Friends of the Library have scheduled a reception for Steve Berger on Sunday, September 13, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
