August 2015 ART EXHIBIT

Paintings by Suzanne Siegel

American folk art as well as paintings by Paul Gauguin are a major influence in Suzanne Siegel’s mixed media paintings. Her other subjects of interest are the vegetation of Key West and the landscapes of Long Island. After attending Pratt Institute, she became an art teacher at the Comsewogue School District. Ms. Siegel’s work has been exhibited at numerous local galleries, the Museum of Natural History and the Vanderbilt Museum.

Everyone is invited by the Friends of the Library to meet Ms. Siegel at a reception on Saturday, August 15 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
