February 2005 EXHIBIT

Photography by Robert J. Belsten

Mr. Belsten, retired from the US Navy and teaching up-state New York concentrates on finding the "perfect picture". A passionate photographer for many years, Mr. Belston will display pictures mostly taken on the North Fork. He feels the secrete to creating images is, "to see, stand in the right spot and wait for the right light".

Quilts by Barbara Wyckoff

This display shows a small sample of Barbara Wyckoff's creative work. Intrigued by the original American quilts, she started to experiment on her own. Leaving the traditional quilting of geometric forms, she designed her artistic works with antique Japanese kimono material incorporating forms of butterflies, fishes and dragonflies, metal threads and silk. This work is unique and one of a kind.
