Works by Siyu Liu
Ms. Liu, now a resident of Wading River, immigrated from China in 1987. Her artistic education started early during the Cultural Revolution in China. After the revolution ended, Siyu Liu was able to enter Tsinghua University to study architecture. Once in the United States she continued her studies at SUNY Buffalo and received a Master's Degree in architecture. This exhibition displays illustrations of her recently published book,
"A THOUSAND PEAKS, Poems from China," written with Orel Protopopescu.
Also included in the exhibition are copies of paintings by ancient Chinese masters as well as some architectural renderings.
