Exhibition: Sculptures and Mosaics by Howard Levine

Howard Levine has been creating innovative art in his Long Island studio for decades. His body of work has culminated with his current focus on sculpture and mosaics. Mr. Levine started painting in the 1960's in a studio-loft in NYC and taught art in Westhampton Beach for many years. He lives and works on the North Shore of Long Island where he maintains a studio and created his own sculpture garden, that can be visited by appointment. "Creating is the only meaningful thing", according to Howard Levine. His many old and new creations will be on display in the library during November.

Mr. Levine will speak about the social wareness that art can bring to the public and compels the artist to create work that moves the viewer. Everyone is invited to meet Howard Levine at at a reception sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Sunday, November 5th from 2:30- 4:30
