NOVEMBER 2007 ART EXHIBIT

Harvey Hellering: Fine Art Photographer

Mr. Hellering's photographs have been widely exhibited over the last twenty years. In his photographs he tries to capture mood and moments of exciting scenes, sometimes portraying only fragments of a location. As a long time world- wide traveler his subjects include images from Europe, Mexico, Cuba and the Middle East, as well as Long Island. The current exhibit concentrates on photographs from Alsace Lorraine, France, Egypt, the Sonoran Desert in Arizona and East Coast locations. Mr. Hellering is a member of the prestigious Salmagundi Club in NYC, the East End Photographers Group, and recently served as President of the East End Arts Council. Everyone is invited to meet Mr. Hellering at a reception sponsored by the Friends of the Library on Sunday, November 4 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
