October 2016 ART EXHIBIT

Photography by Howard Stevens
"People and their Environment"

Mr. Stevens has traveled to many exotic lands around the world, observing people in their surroundings. His images present spontaneous realizations of a moment; closeups of faces that reveal individuals' reactions to their environment, their work, and their lives. Mr. Stevens is a retired professor of Suffolk Community College, where he founded the TV/Radio/Film Department 50 years ago. Currently Mr. Stevens lives in New York City and his photographic subject is Manhattan, with all its many visions, people, and architecture.
The Friends of the Library invite everyone to meet with Howard Stevens on Saturday, October 8, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
