September 2008 ART EXHIBIT

Paintings by Elizabeth Crisci
A native of Long Island, Ms. Crisci is influenced by the colors and light of Long Island as well as the landscapes. She tries to capture a moment in time, often reflecting a feeling of isolation or hope in the composition of her painting. A graduate of Stony Brook University and Alfred University, Ms. Crisci has shown her work at Gallery 4222 in Port Jefferson and The Walt Whitman Museum. The Friends of the Library will sponsor a reception for the artist Elizabeth Crisci and the Paleontologist Michael Walsh on Saturday, September 6 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
