September 2017 ART EXHIBIT

"Color is Song" (Matisse): Paintings by Nichols Nappi

Nichols Nappi fills his paintings with color, bold and audacious. It is his goal that each painting becomes not only a journey for the eye, but also a visual musical composition, a melody. He has exhibited widely in the United States and has received awards from the Chicago and Miami Film Festivals, the Clio, Audubon Artists, and American Watercolor Society.

All are invited to meet with Nichols Nappi at a reception on Saturday, September 16, 2:30 - 4:00 PM. This reception is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
