REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – Child’s name and age/grade MUST be entered in the note field in order to confirm registration. Each library card only reserves one child per program.

• Children Entering Kindergarten and up attend programs independently unless otherwise noted.
• Children in Grades Kindergarten and up must be registered using their own North Shore Public Library card.
• Late Arrival Guidelines: A grace period of 10 minutes will be given to patrons attending a program. Admittance after this arrival time is at the discretion of the library staff.

Colorful Cousins

Wednesday, July 16, 1:00-2:00 PM

Sand dollars and sea stars and urchins – oh my! Discover what makes this family of spiny critters so unique and see examples of these cool creatures. Listen to a starfish story and design a colorful, tie-dye sea urchin figure.

Explore and Create

Mondays, July 21 and August 11, 2:00-2:45 PM

Children will enjoy music that will get them moving and grooving, followed by creating artwork that will make a beautiful keepsake. Crafting will focus on fine motor and sensory skills.

Kidnastics

Wednesday, July 30 and Tuesday, August 12, 11:15AM-12:00PM

Kidnastics will be here to lead children with caregivers in a fun exercise program with activities designed to develop fine and gross motor skills.

Art Nanny Presents Wonderful Whales

Thursday, August 7, 3:00-3:45 PM

Child and adult artists will create a watercolor painting together, complete with a frame ready to hang. Little hands will color and paint while adults use art tricks to create amazing artwork that looks professional.

Let’s Get Ready for Pre-K!

Monday-Wednesday, August 18, 19, & 20, 10:15-11:00 AM

This program, which will meet on three consecutive days, is for pre-school children ages 3 and 4 years with a parent or caregiver. Each session will explore a different concept and will include a story and craft.
