Beginning in mid-December, the North Shore Public Library will be introducing a new online program calendar for our online program registration options to replace our sunsetting current platform.
The new platform will look different, but it will have some new features that will allow for a more user friendly experience, such as the ability to filter programs by department, virtual or in-person, by types of programs, and more! The calendar is also color coded and has user friendly text and icons. Below you will see some screen shots of some of these key features.
In the coming days, ready for any Early Adult Program Registrations for January programs, you will begin to notice new links on our website that will direct you to our new Library Calendar. No longer will programs be listed on our website directly. Instead, they will all be on our Library Calendar and neatly formatted to be easily accessible to all. Please contact the Library should you have any questions or issues with the new calendar once it goes live. We are working to make this transition as easy and clean as possible and we are excited to roll it out soon!
**Please also note, the schedule for Adult Program Registration will be slightly different beginning with January Programs on 1/2/26 (as well as early January program registration beginning 12/20/25). Please refer to the newsletter when mailed and received later this month for specific instructions for each program (or click here for a downloadable pdf copy).
- Days 1-2: NSPL cardholders may register in-person or by phone (in-person only for programs with fees).
- Day 3: NSPL cardholders may begin registering online (in-person only for programs with fees).
- Day 5: Remaining openings will become available to non-residents, in-person or by phone only (in-person only for programs with fees).
- If a program has fees, in-person registration is required.
