Paul Jost Quartet – Cover to Cover

When describing the unique vocalist and arranger Paul Jost, two words come to mind “passionate storyteller”. Paul is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger but it is his work as a vocalist that makes him a standout. Both critics and contemporaries alike say he is one of the best male jazz vocalists since Mark Murphy. His Quartet is:  Paul Jost- vocalist/harmonica; Jim Ridl-piano; Dean Johnson-bass; Tim Horner-drums.

Serenade Duo Presents: Reflection of Latin America

Gerry Saulter, guitar, and Michelle LaPorte, flute, take us on a musical journey that celebrates the spirit of Latin American culture throughout the world. The duo will perform a variety of lyrical compositions for flute and guitar from Brazil, Argentina, Italy, and France. The program features tangos, milongas, preludes, and suites created by living composers.

Hayes Greenfield & Dean Johnson Duo

The Hayes Greenfield Dean Johnson Duo is a special opportunity to hear two highly acclaimed jazz musicians create an honest, personal musical dialogue that covers the musical territory we know as modern jazz.  Nothing is off the table when these two start playing and they can make you laugh, cry and your heart soar from their beautiful interpretations of well known jazz standards, Monk tunes and originals.

East End Trio: “Acoustic Comfort Food!”  **In Library**

Join the East End Trio for their unique Pop Songbook program taking you on a musical adventure through the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. This performance is filled with popular songs, trivia and nostalgia all done with their signature style, grace and originality. Michael Munzer, guitar/vocals; Douglas Morrow, drums; and Miranda Gatewood, bass/vocals.


Harp Music in the Gallery with Katharine Saxton **In Library**

Come and join us in the library and listen to Harp music with Katharine Saxton. Her music will soothe your soul and spirit with the sounds of this beautiful musical instrument.

Concert: Sony and Perley: “Jazz, The Great American Songbook & International Cabaret” **In Library**

Listen to music from the Great American Songbook, (The Golden Age of Popular Song 1920’s through – Post Golden Age, with well written, lasting songs from the 1960’s through 1980’s, International Cabaret, and Bossa Nova.  Sonny and Perley interpret and perform the material in their own inimitable artistic style incorporating elements of art, culture, audience engagement with creativity.

Full Circle Jazz & Classical Guitar Concert LIVE **In Library** 

Enjoy the performances of N.Y.S. Chancelor’s Award recipient and solo Jazz guitarist, Professor Craig Boyd, and solo Classical guitarist, Hui Guo Boyd.  Craig and Hui perform an array of music from Classical, Jazz and Popular songs.  The audience will love the variety of the music… it will be pleasurable listening experience for all.  Fun!

Tennessee Walt: An Afternoon in the Country **In Library**

Join us for a hit-filled collection of classic country songs from the 1930’s through the 1990’s, this program is light on talk and heavy on music, all performed live with voice and piano.   You will hear songs famously performed by Hank William, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and more.


Paul Jost Quartet **In Library**

Join Paul Jost- vocals; Jim Ridl- piano; Dean Johnson- bass; and Tim Horner- drums for an evening of Jazz with this renowned quartet. The group brings a fresh interpretation to works chosen from the Great American Songbook, classic popular music and jazz favorites.

Concert: An Enchanted Afternoon: LIVE with Valerie diLorenzo **In Library**

Enjoy an afternoon of cabaret with Valerie diLorenzo, as she sings classic songs from Broadway and the Great American songbook with a few surprises.  Featured composers include:  Irving Berlin, The Gershwins, Harold Arlen, Kander & Ebb and Johnny Mercer.  An award-winning vocalist and professional Equity actress. She will be accompanied by Gene DeLucie on piano.


Concert: Sound Bath:  LIVE in the Library **In Library**

Join Susan and Jessica for this transformative, deep healing Sound Bath session with Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Gongs, Chimes and Drums! Sound and music.

Concert: “Love Songs: Italian & American Classics” with Moreno Fruzetti, Adult

Moreno Fruzzetti will perform the beautiful music of his native Italy as well as American Classics & Pop favorites. Born in Pisa, in the Tuscany region of Italy, his concerts have delighted audiences in the USA, Canada, France, Italy and Australia. Come and enjoy his diverse program of songs picked just for you!


Concert: Indigenous Music: More than Drums and Flutes Via Zoom, Adult **Virtual**

Native Americans and Indigenous American culture have influenced and informed contemporary music from Elvis Presley to Hank Williams to Jimi Hendrix. Craig Harris, musician, radio host, and author of Heartbeat, Warble, and the Electric Powwow: American Indian Music and the forthcoming Rise Up: Indigenous Music, will talk about the multi-faceted reach and resilience of Indigenous music, historically and today.

The exciting sound of clicking castanets, snapping fans and staccato heels will fill the air as Sol y Sombra will present a Lecture/Demonstration of the Art of Spain’s gypsy Flamenco touching on its multi-cultural history and techniques.  Program will include live demonstration of Flamenco dances and a chance to learn a few steps yourself!

Olga Vinokur, concert pianist performs a program that will include great masterpieces by Chopin, Liszt, Schubert and others.


Special Musical Biography: Ludwig van Beethoven – “His Music and Influence” via Zoom, Adults **Virtual** 

The influence that composer Ludwig van Beethoven had on the progression of music history cannot be overstated. His defiant approach towards music and composing paved the way for artists today to express themselves as they truly desire. You will gain an understanding of this complicated genius and learn how over 150 years later he is still influencing the world today.
