His life has been analyzed in books and even films, but little is known of the circumstances surrounding his untimely death. Take a glimpse into the world of one of music’s biggest heroes as we appreciate his genius and attempt to untangle the mystery. Join Dan Lupo, creator of Five-Minute Mozart, for this composer biography.


Concert: Yvette Sings Ronstadt 2023!, Adults

Yvette includes new songs from Linda Ronstadt’s vast repertoire which includes her Rock and Roll years with the Stone Pony, Country songs with Dolly Parton and Emily Lou Harris (“Trio”), The Grammy Award winning album (“Round Midnight”) and Spanish songs from her Latin Grammy Award Winning Album (“Canciones de Mi Padre.”)

Concert: “That’s Amore!”, Adults

Husband and wife duo, Vincent and Emily Ricciardi, share some of the most famous love duets and ballads of the 21st Century. In this show, the focus is on love; and a wide range of music genres have been hand selected to share with the audience – Opera, Broadway, Jazz, Pop and many more! This power house singing couple share the love duets of: Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion, Mario Lanza & Maria Callas, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers…and many more! This is a cozy show for Valentine’s Day, and will surely warm the heart.

Ragtime was a sensation that overtook the United States at the turn of the 20th century and Scott Joplin was the man responsible for bringing it into the forefront. A classically trained musician, Joplin’s lifelong goal was to see ragtime accepted as a serious artform. His life was tragically cut short and Joplin never saw many of his dreams fulfilled. Learn about what made ragtime so special as we delve into the details of his life and enjoy select pieces by the king of ragtime writers.


Concert: Blues Divas of the 1920s – Gail Storm LIVE, Adults

Join Gail Storm, Long Island’s celebrated blues pianist, singer/songwriter, known for her blues stylings and treatment of boogie-woogie will offer a multi-media presentation celebrating the Blues Divas from the 1920’s-understanding the women and the power of their music via commentary, audio recordings, video, and live performance. Such greats as Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, and Alberta Hunter-among others-will be honored.



March 2023 Concerts/Special Events

Concert: The Feinberg Brothers, Adults

Rourke and Patrick Feinberg are the core of a bluegrass brother duet recently featured in the September 2018 issue of Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine.  They are among the top bluegrass acts in the Eastern United States and have released two recordings on the Cabinwood Music label, “Party For One” and “The Feinberg Brothers”.  The band has toured extensively on the East Coast and is rounded out by seasoned bluegrass musicians, Ronnie Feinberg, Terry McGill, and Pete Elegant.

Concert: An Old Fashion Irish Sing-Along for St. Patrick’s Day, Adults

Join us for an Old Fashion Irish sing-along with Kevin Westley in this multi-media program with songs/song sheets and video clips by Count John McCormack, Mary O’Dowd, Luke Kelly, and many more. Have your voices ready and sing along in the old Irish tradition. The Irish American songs such as Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes are Smiling, MacNamara’s Band and more.


Concert: Carolyn Enger, Pianist: Resonating Earth, Adults

Resonating Earth creates a soundscape focusing on the beauty in our environment and inspires environmental activism in an artistic, musically immersive way. This beautiful multimedia concert showcases an array of music including Bach, Debussy, Philip Glass, John Luther Adams, and Caroline Shaw; alongside stunning imagery of the environment by Peabody Award-winning producer Elliott Forrest(WQXR), artist Myles Aronowitz and photographer J Henry Fair.

Concert: Sound Bath, Adults

Join us for this transformative, deep healing sound bath session with Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums!


Concert: Divalicious!, Adults

Divalicious! is the versatile vocal ensemble of Gina Haver, Ruthann Turekian, and Leslie Valentine, with Daniel Ragone as Music Director/Pianist. They will be showcasing selections from the operatic realm as well as from Broadway and the Great American Songbook. Whether it’s Mozart, Andrew Lloyd Webber, or anything in between, they deliver performances that thrill and entertain audiences.


Concert: From Mozart to Gershwin – With Love!, Adults

This program features a taste of Mozart and a generous helping of Chopin and Gershwin favorites. Pianist Anne Taffel has been honored to perform and premiere some of these works in solo tours from China to Peru!

Join Pianist Solomon Eichner in celebrating the 150th birthday anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff with gems from the piano repertoire also including Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Brahms and Gershwin.


Concert: Francisco Roldán presents Guitar Music of Latin America, Adults

Francisco Roldan, Classical Guitarist, has a philosophy that concert programs should be created in a way so that the audience is taken on an interesting, sublime and enjoyable journey, showing the beauty and expressive range of the solo guitar.  We will hear music by composers from the landscapes of Argentina, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Columbia, Paraguay and Cuba.

The Storm is back! A blues concert with Gail Storm on piano & vocals accompanied by Matt Woodburn on guitar/vocals. The blues form, themes, and styles will be performed and shared.


Concert: Mostly Motown, Adults

Join Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Trio will play music of the 1960s and ’70s.  Guaranteed to entertain with songs were made famous by The Supremes, Mary Wells, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and others. There is something for everyone!

Family Portraits 

As part of our Scarecrow Festival, free portraits of individuals, couples, or groups (up to six) will be taken. Let’s note that babies have to be held.  Portrait sessions will be held rain or shine inside the library.  A link to access to your portraits will be emailed to you. 

Scarecrow Festival, All Ages with a parent/caregiver 

Work together as a family to build a child-sized scarecrow! Please bring Child-sized clothing with you. We will supply the rest!

Internationally celebrated musicians, Roldan (guitar) and Mallon (percussion), come together to create a multicultural music experience.  Instruments Of the People showcases a variety of styles including Bambuco, Blues, Danza, Joropo, Porro, Tango and more!  This eclectic duo features music from Columbia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Spain, the United States of America and Venezuela.

Concert: Masterwork Conversations: “Brave new world – art as antidote to AI,” Adults

Pianists Vlada Yaneva and Matthew Harrison celebrate the musical art of composers Stravinsky, Mozart, Beethoven, and others. The creativity and compositions of these masters of sound transcend time with creativity that will never be found in the mashups of AI.

The Vendettas Holiday Spectacular features classic rock and roll holiday tunes like Jingle Bell Rock and Run Run Rudolph, and classic 60’s R&B with a little help from the “Holiday Horns.” This concert is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit!
