Credit Card Policy

  1. The North Shore Public Library Board of Trustees shall maintain a credit card account to be used at the discretion of the Library Director and/or purchasing agent.
  2. The credit card does not replace purchase orders.
  3. The credit card is used for expenses that require immediate payment.
  4. All transactions are to be accounted for in accordance with the library purchasing procedures for authorized library purchases.
  5. The credit card is kept in the Director’s office.
  6. With the Library Director’s permission and a signed purchased order, the authorized users include the business office personnel and department heads.
