This exhibition of mixed media works by Judith Schreiber showcases new works of her impressive on-going series entitled “Heroines” and smaller works of “The Extinction Series.” She has been working on these two series for several years, but continues to find new subjects to render. Inspired by French 19th century painters and the Mexican muralists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, Judith paints every day and is compelled to do so. She has been described as a visual artist who tells stories.
Everyone is invited to meet with Ms. Schreiber on Saturday, June 9, 2:30 – 4:00 PM. This reception is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
All works reproduced with permission from the artist.
