The North Shore Public Library wishes to provide exhibits for the community, and is grateful to the artist for lending his or her work to be shown at the Library for one month. Any artist wishing to display his work at the NS Public Library needs the approval of the Library Board of Trustees and the Director or its representative. Exhibitions are generally on display for one month and publicized in the Library Newsletter for that month.
The Library will use ordinary means to protect the exhibitor’s property. The exhibitor will hold the Library harmless for all damage to exhibitor’s property.
No prices may be listed in the exhibit area. The library will furnish the telephone number of the exhibitor or a contact person upon request. A price list will be given out upon request if the artist provides such information.
Displayed works have to be picked up on the agreed upon date. No storage is available in the Library.
A reception for the artist may be arranged with the Friends of the Library if volunteers are available.
