Come join A Time For Kids in this fun and fast-paced preschool readiness program. Children and adults will work side by side through music, movement, fine and gross motor activities, as well as a storytime. Families will also make an adorable snowman craft.  What’s more fun than a night out at the library!

Babies Love Colors Kit, Ages Birth – 35 months

Geared specifically toward our littlest readers! Learn all about colors this month. Each registered child will receive a simple craft, surprise giveaway, and a keepsake board book. Kit comes complete with songs to sing together.


Family Movie Night Kit: Shrek, Ages 3 years up to Grade 5

Enjoy Family Movie Night in the comfort of your own home. Movies can be borrowed from the library, or download similar titles through Hoopla or Kanopy on our website. Registered family members will pick up a Family Movie Night Goody Bag filled with a mystery snack and themed crafts and activities. Call the library to request a copy of the movie.

Let’s celebrate Valentine’s Day! Pick up a kit filled with recommended stories to read, songs to sing, and make a special craft filled with love.

Let your baby explore with this at-home sensory kit! With multiple block manipulatives, use them in a variety of ways to get your baby learning and playing.

iPads To Take Home

Call or visit the library to borrow a Children’s iPad loaded with age-appropriate and educational games! iPads come pre-loaded, without internet access and can be borrowed for 14 days. Call the Children’s Department for more information or to put an iPad on hold at 631-929-4488.
