This program combines nutrition education, early literacy, and parenting skills. Parents and caregivers will participate in a multimedia program that is part lecture, video cooking demonstration and a reading of a popular children’s book that promotes good nutrition and eating habits. Each registered participant will receive a program-to-go kit with a keepsake book and surprise giveaways.

October is National Fire Prevention Month. Climb aboard a full-scale fire engine, practice using a fire extinguisher, and join a bucket brigade relay race. During this fire safety presentation children will also dress in firefighter gear and show their skills while competing in a firefighter obstacle course challenge.
