This exhibit is about virtual flights and flights of fancy. The contrasting styles and points of view are meant to evoke a sense of similar artistry, thoughts, and ideas with varying approaches to communicate them. This diversity helps to create new inventions, styles, and methods for making art, similar to a fusion of unique cultures creating a new blend of community.
Eileen has shown her work at the University of Virginia, and Piedmont Virginia Community College, and was published in the University of Virginia’s “Iris” Magazine. She taught art for over forty years in public and private schools from New York to South Carolina as well as STEAM sailing to small children. Eileen has since founded an annual art festival in Charlottesville called ARTCHO to support Habitat for Humanity, local artists, and musicians.
