Being raised on the East End, Liz Duerschmidt was influenced by the area beaches, farms, and unique small towns. With no formal training, Liz has carved a niche for herself as one of the foremost recorders of the “East End” ideal that has drawn people to live and summer here for over a century. Her work draws viewers in because of the nostalgic quality.
The Friends of the Library will host an Artist Reception on Saturday, September 8, at 2:30 to 4:00 PM. Ms. Duerschmidt will be in the exhibit area to chat with visitors about her paintings
